Dear Otter Families,

We’re excited to finish our season with the Championship Meet this Saturday, July 26th at Smithfield Road Aquatic Center! We will still be holding practices Monday-Thursday at the Hampton Ridge pool this week if the weather allows. (👕Also, we will have extra team t-shirts available for purchase at practices. $10 for Youth Shirts, $15 for Adults. Sizes are limited. Cash/Check/Venmo accepted.)

All swimmers are eligible to participate in the championship meet, so we encourage everyone to come out and compete one last time together! 👉 RSVPs are due by Wednesday, July 23rd — if you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to submit yours. 📢We also still need volunteers to fill open jobs! Heat Sheets will be sent out on Friday.

Championship Meet Details:

• The championship meet is split into two sessions:
  • 10 & under swimmers will compete in the morning session (arrive at 8am for warm-ups)
  • 11 & older swimmers will swim in the afternoon session (arrive at 12pm for warm-ups)
• When you arrive, look for our team set up in the gym area (not the pool deck). 
• Families are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to make a comfortable spot on the gym floor to hang out between events. You can also find a seat on the bleachers to watch the meet, but all swimmers must remain in the gym so that kid pushers can locate them for their events.

🏅 Awards Party Reminder: We’ll celebrate our amazing season on Saturday, August 2nd from 10:00 AM to Noon at the Hampton Ridge Pool. Mark your calendars—we’ll have fun, refreshments, and recognize all of our awesome Otters!
