We’re excited to finish our season with the Championship Meet this Saturday, July 25th at Smithfield Road Aquatic Center!

📢We also still need many volunteers to fill open jobs! Please sign up here for either the morning session or afternoon session based on your swimmer’s age. Timers have the best views of the races! Heat Sheets will be sent out on Friday as soon as we receive them. If any volunteer shifts are still unfulfilled as of Friday evening they will be randomly assigned.

Championship Meet Details:

• The championship meet is split into two sessions:
  • 10 & under swimmers will compete in the morning session (arrive at 7:45am, warmups are from 8:00-8:25am in lanes 6-8)
  • 11 & older swimmers will compete in the afternoon session (arrive at 11:45am, warmups are 12:00-12:25pm in lanes 6-8)
• Make sure your swimmer has their swimsuit, goggles, swim cap, water, a snack, and plenty of dry towels! We will have some plain silicone swim caps available for sale for $4.00 in case anyone forgets theirs. Any swim caps are allowed as long as they don’t have another team’s name or logo on them.
• When you arrive, look for our team set up in the gym area (not the pool deck).
• Families are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to make a comfortable spot on the gym floor to hang out between events. The gym can get cold, especially if you are wet. You can also find a seat on the bleachers to watch your children's events, but all swimmers must remain in the gym so that kid pushers can locate them for their events.
• No chairs will be allowed on the pool deck in front of the shallow end windows or in front of the bleachers.
• Spectators are not permitted on the pool deck except for when accessing the bleachers! Only volunteers and coaches are allowed to minimize crowding as swimmers get lined up for their events.
• There will be a meeting for all timers and judges in the classroom before each session. There will be an announcement when it is about to start.
• The league will be selling Championship t-shirts on-site. Most sizes will be $20. Sales should be set up in the splash-pad area. T-shirt design below.
• There will be signs marking the flow of swimmer and spectator traffic - diagram below.

🏅 Awards Party Reminder: We’ll celebrate our amazing season on Saturday, August 1st from 6-8pm at the Hampton Ridge Pool. Everyone will need to sign up to bring a dish to share and we will be accepting monetary contributions to give to the coaches as their end-of-season gift.
